@AmeliaBedilia: yeah I think that's what my doctor showed me but it's been a while. I had 3-4 mature follicles my first round and didnt get pregnant. The second round I had three and one implanted. But as I understand it, everyone's chances are different depending on what their IF diagnosis is and also just chance, ya know?

@travellingbee: interesting- do you know where you heard that? My RE said femara has a 5% chance of multiples, but that was before the two follicles and progesterone. I think what you're saying is different- among the people who have two follicles, the chance is 10%- correct? I have this weird twin feeling, but I've had so many times I thought I was pregnant, that my gut is off.

My doctor told me that ovidrel will make all follicles release. I would assume they both did. And stats I've seen for twins with Clomid and femara with multiple mature follicles is aeound 10%

I don't know if progesterone levels tell you anything other than that you've got enough of it to support a pregnancy. For a reference my progesterone level was 52.7 the day of my first beta (aka 4 weeks pregnant). However it was an FET so I was getting all my progesterone from injections since I didn't ovulate. The highest it ever got was 84 and it dropped to 40 once I weaned off my meds.

I've got my FX for you!

We're doing femara/ovidrel for our first IUI. Since I had a history of short LP, my RE wanted me to do a second ovidrel 3 days after IUI. On CD9, we had two follicles- 16mm and 18mm. I triggered the evening of CD11, and IUI the morning of CD13. DH's sample was 85 million post wash. I just found out my progesterone 7 days after IUI was 48.9. The nurse said that typically the progesterone is in the low 30s for women who did ovidrel for implantation support. She didn't know if the higher level meant that I ovulated both follicles. Does this tell me anything besides that I ovulated and have enough progesterone? I'm wondering if it means that I ovulated two follicles, and my chance for twins?
