@spaniellove: I always wait until the weekend. So either Saturday (12DPO) or Sunday (13DPO)? Haven't decided yet. It's sad, I don't even know how many DPO I am without looking at FF! My temps have been a bit higher than usual lately but that might be weather-related. When the temps are all over, it's hard to get a good temperature in the bedroom so I end up waking up feeling warmer than usual.

@LindsayInNY: I didn't mean to try and raise hopes-I just thought I'd share my own experience with light brown spotting after ovulation. I also was told IB was only for a day or so from what I'd heard and read, but it lasted a week for me. Sorry if it wasn't helpful.

@ChiCalGoBee: I'm trying not to get my hopes up anymore, just in case. I'm staying neutral I guess? I changed my panty liner when I got home around 7:30 and have had one small dot since then. Not even enough to really warrant needing the panty liner in the first place. Sometimes there's nothing there when I wipe either. I feel like 6DPO is really early though?

Hope you don't mind me weighing in on IB....I started the same exact spotting you're talking about (don't even need to change the panty liner, "heaviest" in the morning and only when I wipe, etc.) at 8/9 DPO. I got my (faint) BFP at 9/10 DPO in the afternoon. That spotting continued for a full week (with one particularly big blotch of red that had me convinced it was all over), and then faded and went away completely at 15/16 DPO. Fingers and toes crossed I'm still pregnant at exactly 6 weeks and haven't seen it since. I know I'm only one person, but since it sounds sort of similar I thought I'd share.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I haven't been on Clomid. I was just going through all testing this cycle and couldn't be on progesterone. This was the last of it. I have a physical in a couple of weeks but that's all.

@LindsayInNY: was this a non-clomid cycle?

I THINK when I did my testing years ago, my non-clomid progesterone test (mine was 7DPO) was a 1.1. It jumped to 27 on clomid; they wanted to see over 10 for natural cycle and 15+ fit clomid.

I THINK those were the numbers.

Are you done with the testing? Could the progesterone interfere with more testing?

Update from my doctor's office. They got a hold of my doctor, she said to start the progesterone unless I experience AF-like bleeding. Great but wtf, there's a seriously "telephone game" style communication going on! It's no where even close to AF-like! Oy. Well, luckily I have some leftover progesterone at home...

I really don't have any advice to offer other than I always spotted during my cycles - usually once or twice randomly, around O and then a few days after O.

The only time I had progesterone checked was in early pregnancy and it was right on track for pregnancy.

I also have some PCOS symptoms and weird long cycles, but the spotting doesn't seem to have affected me otherwise.

@spaniellove: Well...here's the deal. Unfortunately, after a falling out last week, I had resorted to storing my thermometer far FAR away from my nightstand. So I missed my temp on CD 18...but then of course, I had crazy O pains on CD 17 and 18, so I wanted to check on CD 19 to see if my temp was up, and sure enough, it jumped a little bit. And then it jumped A LOT on CD 20. So I'm pretty sure I O'd CD 18, but I suppose there is a chance it was CD 17.

@LindsayInNY: Just chiming in to say that I also had what I must have been IB on 7DPO & 8DPO (or days 6 and 7, depending on how accurate my ovulation date was). If I had to characterize it, I would say that it was a bit of CM tinted slightly reddish brown, and extremely light. I definitely wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't been obsessing over it. Crossing my fingers for you!
