I can't help in this regard. I CAN, however, tell you how happy I am for you that you have chosen to ask. Many people wait and make uninformed decisions. I know I was one of those people. I am very happy with the support from these communities. The above answers seem genuine and that's all I've gotten from these forums is genuineness. So thank you for reaching out. I am struggling with my own questions. Keep going, and we're cheering you on. xx

i was on 100mg 3x a day vaginally (morning/afternoon/evening and was instructed to take the morning ones before i went in for bloodwork) PLUS 200mg orally that i took in the evening right before bed because the oral ones made me super dizzy. i don't remember my numbers, but i know i didn't have low progesterone or any other issues, but have had two early miscarriages as well as a late loss as well. i think my dr was wanting to do everything to make this one stuck. but all the progesterone made me soooooooooooo tired......but i just dealt with it...anything for a sticky baby...

I was on 400mg vaginal repositories taken every night. My RE tested my levels in the early morning and depending on the nausea of the day determined if I had eaten. I was on the progesterone from 3 days post IUI until 10wks, my levels were always fine but I don't have any numbers.

1. I took 100 mg twice daily vaginally with my last pregnancy. My progesterone was 12.4 when that was prescribed. The pregnancy before that I took 50 mg nightly vaginally- that pregnancy ended as a blighted ovum. My progesterone was 11.7 when that was prescribed.

Edited to add that the 11.7 was drawn at 4pm and the 12.4 was drawn at 11 am.

1. 100mg 2x a day. I had to take it 12 hours apart. ETA it was a shot... I think that's still mg?

2. Never heard anything like that. I always went first thing in the morning to get same day results though.

1) What dose of progesterone were you on? I'm especially interested if anyone did more than 200mg.... I wonder if route affects the dosage drs prescribe? I currently take 200mg orally daily, one pill. I want to bump it up but think 400 mg might be too much. It makes me sleepy.

2) Have any of your REs or OBs said that the time of testing can affect prog numbers? I found one website that said it's best to do in the morning fasting, otherwise your numbers can drop by 50% by the afternoon.... My recentl numbers were low (13.5 at 13 dpo) but they were at 12:30pm, not fasting.
