@Trailmix: Good point. I think it's the progesterone because I'd feel fine until about an hour or so after I take it.

I took a suppository twice a day and didn't notice any side effects. My RE had me stop at 7 weeks, which I was happy about. Are you sure it's the progesterone and not just first trimester ickiness you're experiencing?

I took it nightly until about...14 weeks? But toward the end I would skip every few days because I'm bad. I don't know if it made me tired/drowsy or not because he instructed me to take it right before bed since those are common side effects.

I took a progesterone suppository from weeks 6-12, twice a day. It didn't make me feel tired or woozy, but that may have been because it was a non-oral dosage. If you don't like how you feel, maybe your doctor can provide you with a different way of taking the medication.

I took it once a day, also at night. I was told to stop at 12 weeks but continued until 15 weeks which was when my supply of pills ran out.

My OB only had me on it once a day; she said it was likely to make me feel woozy and out of it. She had me take it before bed. I was supposed to be on it until week 13 but I probably took it through week 15 because I kept forgetting to call the office and be *sure* they said 13 weeks.

I was put on progesterone once I found out about my BFP, and have been taking it orally twice a day for the past 2 weeks. However, it makes me extremely sluggish and tired/drowsy. If you were/are taking progesterone while pregnant, how long did the OB keep you on it? I'm looking forward to the non-sluggish feeling soon, but if it's necessary to continue consuming for the sake of the baby, I definitely will continue!
