I think I usually stopped progesterone if I had a Bfn around 12dpo/dpt. It wasn't clear I needed it either and I wasn't a fan. I think I then got af at the usual time, for me is around 16dpo. Symptoms it's really hard to say since any early symptoms can be af or bfp. But I'd think you can test at home with a frer if you are 11-12 past iui if you're someone who likes answers! A couple more days would be definitive but there's a decent chance t would be accurate now.

Our fertility issues have been related to DH -- with low SC & morphology. Although on the day of IUI -- his sample was all within range - miracle of miracles. I believe the suppositories were given to me to just help strengthen my lining to support implantation. I'm not sure why they didn't give me more so I would have enough to reach testing date. But I have been off the suppositories for at least one day now - I'm still symptomatic as I have been since the IUI transfer. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how long the progesterone stays in my system .. and at what point I can attribute my symptoms to an actual pregnancy vs just the progesterone med side effects. As I still have til Thrs until I was told I can test at home.

Even though I could go into clinic on Tues to test there - I just couldn't deal with the idea of going into the clinic office and paying for them to tell me I wasn't pregnant and then having deal with all my emotions there. Rather just wait two days .. take it at home and sulk in my pjs if I'm not pregnant.

So had my first cycle of IUI and doctor prescribed Progesterone 2x daily post the procedure. I've finished the medication on day 11 PT (post transfer). They told me I can either come in on day 14 PT to have pregnancy check in office or wait until day 16 PT and check at home.

I'm having all kinds of symptoms - and from what I've read these can all be because of the progesterone and not necessarily a potential pregnancy. (Nausea, Heightened Sense of Smell, Exhaustion, Back Pain, Poor Sleeping, Dehydrated (headache as a result).

Two questions
1) How long after I stop taking the progesterone (which was Saturday Morning) would I expect for these symptoms to stop assuming I'm not pregnant
2) How long after I stop taking the progesterone would I expect to get my period if I'm not pregnant
