I figured it out with Ellie when she was smaller because she really resists fluids when she's not feeling well and I was getting frantic because she wouldn't drink ANYTHING and was barely nursing (this was when she was about one or so). She threw up all day from 12:30 to about 6:30 but managed to still have some wet diapers. @Mrs. Twine: The syringe trick worked! It is miserable. Your poor little girl! Fortunately it usually is over fairly fast. In the meantime, we usually set up camp in the shower/bathroom. If she stopped vomiting for 30 min, then try to give her some pedialyte or Gatorade (sips!). You should only worry if they haven't had a wet diaper in over 8 hours.
