So if the seller doesn't post a size, the buyer can't say "Sold, pending size" because then we need to set a time frame for how long the seller has to wait for the buyer to come back. But then we need to police things, so that someone isn't asking lots of questions and not following up when they get a reply. (This is the issue that's been happening lately.)</p> <p>Option 2) If you ask a question, that just means you have a question - there's no hold on any items, and the seller is free to sell to someone else.</p> <p>A number of sellers have been basically doing option 1, and it's been problematic. A few potential buyers have been regularly leaving comments expressing interest, and then disappearing. Meanwhile, the seller has been holding the item and doesn't feel they can sell it until they hear back.</p> <p>Given that, I'm inclined to give option 2 a try!
