We don't eat any meat or animal products - LO gets all of her protein from plant sources: tempeh/tofu, beans, chia seeds, hemp hearts, veggies, nuts and seeds. She loves smoothies, so it's easy enough to make her a pea-protein smoothie + fruit + greens + chia + nut butter ... it's nearly a full day's worth of protein.

We do buy some prepared vegan staples, like soy/coconut yogurt, hummus, and plant milks. We prefer almond milk, but it's protein content is less than impressive. I don't like soy milk, but it packs a ton per serving.

Vegetarians. I put hemp hearts in smoothies. I put ground almond and hemp hearts with dried fruit in oatmeal. I put ground almond into banana pancakes.

Other things she'll eat: tofu, cottage cheese, cheese, eggs, veggie dogs/veggie bacon slices, and nuts like cashews, peanuts, and almonds. She doesn't like peanut butter and will rarely eat beans. I mix tvp or lentils into pasta sauces and casseroles.

LO doesn't eat a lot of meat but he does like deli meat, usually turkey or ham. He also likes turkey bacon. He probably gets most of his protein from yogurt and cheese.

My 8 month old likes eggs, tofu, and peanut or almond butter. I also give her beans and lentils, which have been less of a fave, but she's not refusing things yet. She also eats up whole grains like quinoa and whole wheat pasta and bread, which have quite a bit of protein.

DS eats no meat at all, ever. It's his choice not ours in this case. So we try and feed him eggs, cheese, yogurt, milk, beans, edamame, peanut butter, nuts. Whole wheat breads and pastas often have more protein than white alternatives. He doesn't like tofu or hummus anymore, but we used to do those.
