I think the self-inflating ones like they use for camping is better b/c they don't make it as thick as the ones they use for camping. We have the GoCrib and it also has a self-inflating mattress and I can blow it up so it's really hard. I'm guessing the new Peapod Plus one has one very similar to the GoCrib. I'll find out soon since they are going to try to ship me mine today. I can post a picture of it if I get it before our trip just to show everyone what the new mattress will look like. Sheesh...took long enough! I think I signed up to get the replacement months ago. Anyway, so I asked what the replacement is and it's basically a self-inflatable sleep mat (like those for camping) with some kind of support all around the side of the mat. I'm curious how it will look! </p> <p>Just thought I would share for those also wondering where their replacement sleep mat is. We also have a GoCrib so we'll be using that for our upcoming trip. I actually love both and they both have it's pros and cons. :) </p>
