@kiddosc: Cool!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I left two heavy books in it overnight and it has already stretched quite a bit. I think I'll leave the books in it until he touches....one toe is about 3 inches from the floor now : )

We just got the same jumper too and E was too short for it on the lowest setting. We ended up moving it up a bit and putting a couch pillow under his feet. After a couple weeks the springs stretched and he can touch on the lower setting.

I just put 2 of DH's medical books in the seat to stretch the springs. I mean, DS is small for 4.5 months but I figure his feet should be at least close to touching at this point!

we have the same one and have the same problem, but my kids are only 2.5 months, so I figured that was why :) i just stuck my nursing stool underneath and works great.

We have the same one. I definitely think the springs need time to loosen up. DS's toes didn't touch the floor (when he was round 4 months old) so we just put a heavy book underneath him and he stood on that. After a couple of weeks his feet finally touched the floor.

@winniebee: We have that one and started using it when he was about 24-25 inches or so. When we first put him in it, his toes barely touched the ground, but within a week or so the springs must have loosened up bc his foot was slowly starting to become more flat and I doubt he grew that much in a week. If you don't want to put the baby in it yet, maybe a baby-weight book or hand weights in the seat for a day or 2 might stretch it just a little.

@Thehistoryofus: It's this one: height is adjustable on it, but even on the lowest setting he is nowhere near touching the ground. It's advertised as having a higher seat for more stability. I just thought it was odd that my mom's (which is 3 years old) is just right for him and then this one is not even going to be usable for awhile!

My mom has the Einstein Jumper at her house from when my niece was a baby - I loved it and my son did too (4.5 months). We bought one for our house and it's "new and improved" and the seat is SO much higher than the older model - so high that my LO's feet dangle 6 inches above the floor whereas on the older model his feet touched the floor. He's a peanut (barely 24 inches at 4.5 months) but still, that's a huge difference and I wish we had realized it before we bought it since there's no way he's going to be able to touch the ground on the newer model for quite some time.

Thought I would pass along the review!
