When I flew with mine and he was asleep, I told them to do a pat down instead and they didn't' have a problem with it. She was 14 months and did not want to get back in the along once I took her out. I used the beco for that very reason the next time. Thankfully, the TSA was super great and didn't make me take him out cause that would have been a PIA</p> <p>ETA: also- when we were on the plane- the flight attendant said we weren't allowed to keep him in the maya during take off and landing? I have no idea why... They said it was because I set off the alarm with the metal on the rings. So just a heads up, don't wear a ring sling flying if you want to keep your baby asleep :crying: </p>
