The angle to tighten the belt is much easier to achieve with the belt rather than LATCH straps IMO. But yes, @looch: that’s why I love the britax click tight installation! That will take into account the car's weight limit as well.</p> <p>If your car seat was made prior to February 2014 you will have to look up the vehicle limit as well as the weight of your seat.</p> <p>When forward facing a top tether does not have a weight limit. My 5 year old is going to be in our Britax Marathon for as long as she can fit it, but it occurred to me after reading the post someone shared on my Facebook that we're almost at the limit for having her seat LATCHed (the Marathon is 20 lbs, and she's 44). So we'll be securing it via seat belt this weekend.
