Including where they use ups and then it transfers to usps. Those are the worst. I always make a point of telling the amazon rep that those the the problem packages. I just had a shipment that was due on Thurs 3/5 get delivered on Wed 3/11 because it sat at the local USPS for 4 extra days. It's frustrating though, when it was something that we actually needed by a certain time and all they offer is a free month of prime. That's worth, what, $8? </p> <p>We had a package that was late this week "due to weather," (which they don't consider their fault) even though it came from VERY nearby, and there was absolutely no inclement weather between here and there at ALL. DH was pissed. And my mom was in customer service for a while for UPS, and Amazon has started using some deal where USPS actually drops them off sometimes, even though USPS makes no guarantees it will be on time. I've had a lot of problems when they ship usps and every time I do the online chat with customer service about a missed shipment they extend my membership by an extra free month. I think I probably have over six months free at this point. </p>
