I guess it would depend on the situation, but Starbucks is hard. If the car were close, I would go to the car. I have changed out in the seating area at a restaurant a few select times, when it was a booth and I tried to be discreet about it. Few times I even put the changing pad on the floor of the bathroom (single person no stall bathroom) which grossed me out but I didn't know what to do. At Chinese restaurants sometimes I push chairs together that they may have in the bathroom hallway and use those. It's hard! I don't believe the same for changing them. The argument for breastfeeding is who wants to eat where you poop and that means not changing poop where others eat. I have never been in a Starbucks that has had a changing table... And the issue in that story, in my opinion, is the father dumping the coffee on the floor. Was that really necessary?
