This what we do.</p> <p>I buy a couple of large plastic table cloths from the dollar store and put them over her mattress protector as an extra layer of protection and put a fitted sheet over that. I also put a towel over her pillow</p> <p>Then I just leave a comforter on her and I sleep in the bed with her (same as @bluebonnet ) with the basin near me. She does a weird cough-cry right before she throws up.</p> <p>Hugs! I take off any bedding/throw pillows/etc that are expensive or hard to wash and toss them in my closet, and keep a basin between us. She has a distinctive cough before puking. It gave me enough time to grab the trash can or run her to the bathroom. </p> <p>It's not for everyone, but it worked for us. I was thinking a huge towel over her pillow and bed for easy puke clean up. She doesn't know how to puke in a bucket yet so I'm trying to think of how to keep my life easy in the middle of the night. Any tips? </p>
