When I have beer or wine, I have 1 drink and then wait 3 hours to pump. So, I normally feed the LO at 9 pm and then have a beer because the next feeding isn't until 1 or 2 am.

Happy early bday!!

Dairy can take up to 2 weeks to completely clear your system, alcohol passes through milk like it does your bloodstream, so no need to pump and dump if you wait ~2 hours per drink after drinking before pumping.

Hmm...I think dairy lasts a lot longer than alcohol. I'm not sure how long it stays in your system, though. I would guess 24 hours, at least. Sad.

If you eat a food that you don't want LO to consume (say, dairy if you are on a dairy free diet) or a beer.....how long does it take for that food/drink to get out of your system?

My birthday is next week and I'm DYING for some pizza/fresh mozzarella and I'm dairy free currently to help DS's tummy troubles. I exclusively pump so am wondering if I could in theory eat the dairy and then pump and dump.....
