The tubes never come in contact with the milk. If I feel like its getting a bit grimey I just throw it out and buy a new set of tubes, there arent expensive. But I wonder, is it really necessary to clean the tubes? They don't actually come in contact with milk and it's so hard to get the water out of them after cleaning! </p>
