I was getting 8oz during my one pump and just stopped yesterday. Uncomfortable yes. But not bad and today wasn't uncomfortable at all!

I stopped like that too. I had 2-3 days where I felt pretty full, but that was it and my body regulated. We still nurse when we're together (although he's started initiating more sessions!)

If you are pumping less than every 12 hours, you can quit cold-turkey. I was only getting 3-4 ounces at 1 pump a day. I was a little uncomfortable for up to about two weeks (every so often) and I got some lumps I had to massage out, but it wasn't too bad.

DS is 13m and I am down to one 10min pumping session a day (M-F). DS nurses first thing in the morning and at bedtime (at lunch on Sat and Sun). I plan to keep nursing until he self-weans but I'd like to stop pumping all together really soon (by Nov 1 if possible). I'm getting anywhere between 3-5oz when I pump and the milk is still flowing when I stop at 10min. Should I just not pump one day and see what happens?
