You'll have to go longer than the baby would take to empty, but your body should be pretty used to that time-frame. The pump isn't as good at getting the milk out of your body as a baby is, so I try to add at least one more session than my baby would normally eat.</p> <p>I recently went out of town for a weekend and left the in-laws with 30oz/day for Xander. I had to pump 7 times a day to get 30oz and Xander only ate 6 times. I'm going on a 3-day business trip and also will be going to the office more frequently. Do I pump every four hours like be nurses? I see a lot of women pump every three, is that what I should do? </p>
