Freezing breaks it down a little and it's totally ok to keep it in the fridge for around 5 days. I'd keep it in the fridge.

Freeze it! You can always thaw it; but it has a limited time in the fridge.

I'd freeze it...I know you *can* store BM in the fridge for several days but 3 is the most I personally feel comfortable with. I'm fine with sending Friday's milk on Monday but wouldn't use milk older than that. That's partly because I feel like my milk starts to get a little funky after 4+ days, though, but I'm not sure if that's all in my head or real.

I'd personally freeze it myself and pump a bit on Sunday, but you'll be fine if you don't. Mayo, the CDC, and Kelly mom all state averages of 3-8 and 5-8 days in the fridge. So Monday would be your day 5 for the Wednesday stuff, but if you've got it pushed to the back and not on the door, it should be just fine.

I'm also trying to hunt down where I found it, but I swear I read a few days ago that they're consecutive storage rules, too, but I know I've read conflicting things on that. So I could pump at work and leave it at room temp for 3-4 hours, then put it in a cooler for another 12, then the fridge for 4 or 5 days, and if I still haven't used it by then, freeze it. Now, of course, that's not recommended - freeze it ASAP if you plan to in the end - but now I really want to find that source back to find out. I always try to play it safe, though.

Are you pumping anymore today or over the weekend? If so, freeze Wed and Thurs stash and use the weekend pumped milk for daycare on Monday.

I have about 20 oz. of pumped milk in the fridge from wed and thurs. I won't need to use it until DD goes back to daycare monday, should I just freeze it or leave it in the fridge?
