I second what @JessLC: said... I have had a lot of success at conferences with the centers trying their best to accommodate. Maybe if you can squeeze one more pump you will be more comfortable. I told my boss I had to leave a session early and I pumped into the coffee/break time so it worked out. Good luck!

I'd call ahead to the organizers and ask them if there is a place for you to pump.

i asked this question a few weeks ago and some people suggested that i call ahead to the conference center or wherever it is being held to see if they have a nursing lounge, and if you can have access to a refrigerator to store your milk.

i haven't had to do it yet, though. i have an out of town meeting in march and i asked them if they had a room where i could pump and i was really surprised when he said "yes, we have a lactating room"!

How would you pump at an all day conference?

I usually pump 3 times at work but looking at this conference schedule I will only be able to pump once at lunch. I know my supply should be okay if its one day but as of right now I'm averaging 2 oz a 30 min pumping session.

I would be taking my hand pump with me

Any tips?
