Your breasts will definitely adjust to it, it just takes time. I can now go about 12 hrs in between pumps where as before I would have to pump twice a night. As far as clogged ducts go I hear Lethicin is great for prevention

Last night as the first time I slept a full 9 hours. Woke up once or twice due to the breasts but made myself sleep thru it. Pumped 7oz and nursed for 25 min...

I don't pump at night, usually nurse 1x and I still wake up with full breasts. Still hoping my body adjusts...

I've never done it. Eventually they adjusted and now don't get quite as engorged anymore.

DS is sleeping through the night and although I'd love to be able to take advantage of this and sleep through the night also, my breasts are so engorged I feel like I have to pump in the middle of the night! I've tried to got 8-9 hours without pumping and I've ended up with rock hard breasts and clogged ducts.

If you're breastfeeding and your little one is sleeping through the night, do you get up to pump? If not, how do you do it?
