i just pulled my blouse up and wore whatever bra. with a nursing bra, i'd just unclasp the front. and with a normal bra, i'd just unhook the back. then put my hands free bra on and pump away. no cover, but i'd try to face away from the door. not that anyone would be able to see your boobs, but you will end up looking ridiculous with shirts pulled up, bra pulled down and the hands free on!

I usually wear a nursing bra + a camisole or slip + a shirt or wrap dress. The shirt or dress gets opened or pulled up, the camisole or slip gets pulled down, and the bra gets unclasped. Then I zip my pumping bra over that. No cover, but you really can't see anything anyway.

I always wore nursing bras (mostly because I didn't have any normal bras that fit) and pulled up the shirt unless it was way too tight, then would take it off.

Our room locks from the inside so no issues with being walked in on. I usually take my shirt and bra off, but I get cold in our pumping room. I've started bringing a fleece jacket to stay comfortable. I wear nursing bras for ease of nursing before/after work and because I didn't buy any regular bras after giving birth, so I only own nursing bras that fit.

I can lock the room I pump in from the inside, so I take my shirt and (normal!) bra completely off and lay an a+a blanket over my lap to catch any spills. Since so few of my professional clothing fits, it is easier to completely disrobe on top rather than figure out what would be easy to pull down!

I take my shirt totally off, just bc I usually wear t-shirts, which are hard to pump in...I leave my nursing bra on tho and just put my hands-free bra on over it!
Can you lock the door from the inside? If you can, then you don't have to worry about being walked in on...

Good luck tomorrow! Everything will be okay.

I leave my nursing bra and shirt on. I just pull things up and down and then put the pumping bra on over my nursing bra. I don't wear a cover.

You will figure out in time what works best for you. I hope you have a good first day back!

So I go back to work tomorrow. :( My plan is to pump once at home right before leaving (LO will still be asleep following her morning feed) and then pump twice at work. I expect LO will take at least 3 bottles while I am gone, perhaps 4 not sure yet. If she takes the 4th I'll pump as soon as I get home.

Anyways - the way I understand our set up at work is that there is a room which you go and get a key for as you want to use it. This makes me feel better than a room with tons of keys floating around. I am planning to take my hands free bra so I can use my cell phone to answer emails while pumping.

What I am wondering from you ladies is:

1) Did you remove your work shirt entirely so as to ensure you did not drip milk on it?
2) Did you use a cover for fear of being walked in on?

I mean - I was going to wear my nursing bra but then I realized thats a bit silly since I am going to take my shirt all the way off - why not take the bra all the way off too?!

Just looking for some input from other WOHMs! Totally freaked out about pumping at work!
