@kpaz: glad to hear it worked. I also enjoyed looking at some pics or videos of LO and that helped me relax and then let down happened.

thank you guys so much! i don't know if it was the hand expressing or the fact that i'm two hours past my usual pump time but it is finally working (and thank goodness, because hand expressing takes forever!)

Watching videos of LO helped me. This sounds silly but I would also try to imagine my breasts as waterfalls with milk coming out of them. lol It would help me get a letdown when I first went back to work and was having trouble relaxing.

Yikes! I'm sorry you're dealing with this! I've had this happen to before, but never in a row like that. Usually I just try to go pump later in the day and that works for me. Can you try doing something while pumping to relax and distract yourself from it? Sometimes when I'm focused on my output, the stress makes nothing come out! I usually read a book or watch TV while pumping.

And I like @junebugmama: suggestion of hand expressing a little before just to get things flowing!

Do you know how to hand express? sometimes when I couldn't let down while on the pump, I could get milk flowing with hand expression and then attach myself to the pump.

I also listened to recording of my son crying

Hi! First time poster here with a cry for help...

I work out of home and pump twice while I'm in the office. The last few days I haven't been able to get a letdown while pumping! I can feel milk in there because I'm getting uncomfortable not being able to pump. Any suggestions/help with getting to a letdown?
