I EP and I could see how it may mess up the pump, but I think you would really have to turn the tubing a weird way. I knew it wasn't right and it's annoying that it falls off all the time, but I never thought about it breaking the PISA! I noticed that there is a small hole in one of my tubes, so I called Medela to see if I could get the tubing replaced for free. Come to realize when I talked with the Medela rep on the phone that I apparently have been using the wrong tubing with my pump for almost five months! I guess I mixed up the tubing I was given in the hospital for the Medela Symphony with my PISA tubing and apparently they're not interchangeable. Oops! The rep was really nice and said it happens a lot, but please be careful because it can break off the ports on my pump. Eek! Luckily, I should be getting my new tubing within two days for free. In my defense, I think I remember the LC telling me in the hospital that the set she gave me was universal for Medela pumps, so I didn't think I had to worry about mixing things up. </p> <p>Please tell me I'm not the only one this has happened to! :) </p>
