Although I work for a large university that has pumping rooms, my division is offsite so it wasn't convenient to use the pumping rooms. I see the computer guys all the time. They didn't charge me for borrowing a mouse when mine broke because they see me at least twice a day. Today, I was asking about rubber bands because I left my pumping bra at home and had to do the rubber band trick. I work at a hospital, too (also a SWer!), and I am able to utilize the lactation room in the NICU. I've asked a few of the nurses who have recently had babies, and they said they all gave it up before returning to work because their schedule is too hectic to pump. It is supposed to only be used for pumping and there are signs all overy stating so, but people still ignore it and bring their lunches in there so I've heard that you have to put up with the smell of whatever someone just ate! For example... I work in health care. I'm in my office a couple of days, but for the most part I work in the emergency room. I have absolutely no clue where I'm going to pump!
