I just asked a flight attendant and they let me sit in a "jump seat" sort of in their space. I know sometimes the have a few seats reserved for them and often there is a curtain that pulls around to hide their seats for privacy. I was on my own both times, so there was a stranger next to me (men both times I think!). I made sure to get a window seat, angled so I was facing the window, and waited until my neighbors were asleep or distracted before pumping. But honestly it wasn't terrible. The plane drowned out most of the noise of the pump, the cover worked well, and no one cared at all. I am not at all timid about breast feeding in public (i don't use a cover), but I am a bit uncomfortable at the prospect of pumping in public. I am much more inclined to pump in my seat than the bathroom though...<br /> Thoughts?? </p>
