LO eventually took a bottle about 4pm. Around the same time she had her first wet diaper since I left for work. She's been eating for me since she got home. Hopefully we'll be seeing more wet diapers soon.

I'm back to my normal pumping output for my second pumping session of the work day. I think that means LO didn't eat much at all last night & this morning. I thought if I produced more this session it might mean I'm just producing more in general (which would be good).

She's only taken an ounce from the bottle in the last 6 hours. Email me back, doctor, please.

@BabyBoecksMom: I've been back at work for 3 months. I just missed the last four days because of LO's illness. Normally I don't worry about her not taking the bottle at daycare since I know she eats from me.

I wouldn't think her not eating would up your pumping. I would think you would see a dip in supply if she wasn't eating.

I am sorry she isn't eating. Maybe she just isn't hungry since she is sick. Hopefully she feels better soon and gets back to eating normal.

Maybe it's because you're getting better at the pump? I found that after a month or so, I started getting a better output because I finally got the hang of the pump and the 2nd let down.

And if your LO won't take the bottle, don't worry too much. She'll either learn to take the bottle or will wait until you're home to eat a whole bunch.

My pumping output has been way up the past few days. LO is just starting antibiotics for pneumonia and is pretty congested. Does my increase in pump output mean she's hardly eating? Is this common? Worrisome?

I just pumped 8oz and my PR was 4! Last night at 10pm I pumped 6oz and I usually get 2 at that session.

LO had her first bottle this week from DH this morning but her consumption doesn't tell me much because she never really takes her first bottle after a long boob-only stretch.
