I only pump 2x during the workday. At 1045 and 230ish. I try to so every 3.5 hours. I nurse/ pump at 730 and when I get home at 545/6. I haven't gone back full time yet so I haven't noticed a drop in my supply but I just don't have the time to do it 3x at work. Its such a disruption to my day and I'd never get anything done if I did it 3x a day!

I started off pumping 3 times during the work day, when I dropped to 2, I definitely noticed a dip in my supply.

I keep on the same schedule as LO (she eats around 930, 12, and 330). I nurse her at 6 AM and 630 PM, and once during the night.

If H is eating twice and you are pumping twice, that is probably perfectly fine.

ETA: If your supply doesn't seem bothered by it, it is perfect! If your supply dips, then you can make a change.

When I go back to work it's going to be my plan to match my pumping sessions as closely as possible to M's eating schedule. I'm assuming H will eat at 11:30 and 2:30? If so I would try to pump at those times if you can!

I'm curious about this too! As a teacher I have very specific times I need to pump, and I can't really change them around. 4 hours and 3 hours seems pretty evenly spaced out though, which is fabulous for you! I'm interested to see what others say!

So I know that from 9-5 H will eat 2 bottles with the Nanny, about 4-5 oz each (I nurse her at 830 right before nanny arrives, and as soon as I get home)...Therefore I need to pump twice. Is it ok to just pump 2x, say at like 1230 and maybe 3? Or do I need to space it out better? Mornings ate so busy for me at work it's hard to do it before 12, and then I do it again around 3 or 330, and I nurse my daughter at 5 or 530.

Is it ok to go 4 hours w/o pumping (1230), and then 3 hours? Or do I need to space it out better?
