Have you replaced your membranes on your pump (assuming you have a medela)?

Also - make sure you're drinking plenty of water (you should be consuming 1/2 your body weight in oz) and eating plenty of calories. If it is your period, don't stop pumping! It should bounce right back in a few days.

I am having the same problem. I tried to drink more water/tea, am taking fenugreek, and am drinking Mother's Milk Tea even though I hate licorice flavor. I also coslept for a couple of nights which helped. My son is 6.5 months old. We just cut back to two bottles per day, too, since he is a beast about eating solids and that was the only way to stem the freezer stash bleed. I have halved my stash though, so it's disconcerting. I really really really don't want to resort to using formula. I feel like I put in so much effort and made it this far... I don't want the big corporations to win!!!

@avivoca: My period has been acting like it's trying to come back for almost a month now but it hasn't yet. Maybe that has something to do with it too

What helps me is to drink lots of water (I try to drink 20 oz. before I get to work in the morning), eat avocado at lunch, and really do a lot of breast compression to make sure I got everything I could.

Have you noticed if you are ovulating or about to get your period? My supply always tanks right around both of those times.

The only thing that worked for me when my supply started to tank was to just pump pump pump. I started pumping after every nursing session on the weekends and in the evenings, and even added extra pumping sessions during the day at work.

I'm sorry your supply is tanking. I hear supplements (like fenugeek and Mother's Milk) work for some people, though they didn't work for me. I hope you're able to recover it. <3

I'm doing my morning pump and I used to get at least 4-5oz (he gets 2 5oz bottles on a good day and 2 8 oz bottles on a bad day.) from this pump even if T nursed twice before work. Now I'm getting 1.5 oz per boob...and this is still my largest pump of the day. I feel pretty positive my pump and parts are still working fine. I don't have supply issues when I BF all day.

We're ramping up solids so I am nursing less on weekends when I'm home with him so I'm sure that's the culprit. But I don't think he's ready for less milk at daycare yet. At home I nurse him after solids but he can't get that at daycare.

I have to keep pumping until October 31st when I'm laid off for the season at work. I was hoping to get a part time job, but not of I won't be able to continue to pump. I tried pumping again at night but I get just drops. Freezer stash is depleted too. Help. :(
