I did occasionally, even while driving! Used the regular medela flanges and a full nursing cover. Hands free bra was a necessity. It was a little extra effort but necessary when I was otherwise going to miss a pump session.

I used to pump and drive (or pump as passenger) with the Pumping Pals angled flanges and a hands free bra. This time around I got the Freemies and it's easier because there's less set up and loose pieces to put together. And I don't have to worry about flashing anyone when I'm setting up or breaking down. I like pumping while driving because I'm sitting in the car anyways so why not get the pump session over with and not have to worry about scheduling it in later.

I didn't like to pump unless I could do massage (I never got the same output if I skipped that part) so it wouldn't have worked for me. Did it plenty as a passenger though!

I did this a few times commuting home. I would get set up before I left and start pumping and driving. I never used a bra thing, but I used rubber bands hooked around and attached to my nursing tank/bra to keep everything in place hands free. Wore a scarf on top to cover up!

I've done especially on the way to a meeting or something. I never made it a part of my daily routine but if I had an early meeting or something I made sure to pump on the way in. My commute wasn't quite long enough for a full session.

The above poster mentioned the freemies, here's a post about those: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/freemie-collection-cups-anyone-have-these

Can't write a long post right now but google Freemies, they have saved me so much hassle while pumping and driving!

Ya, all the time for LO 1. Short nursing covers like hooter hiders worked the best for me over my seat belt and flanges. My hands free bra was a necessity.

I've done it as a passenger, but never while driving. The hands-free bra is essential, even as a passenger.

Does anyone do this? Tips / tricks / experiences / is it worth the hassle?

I'm headed back to work in a few weeks and am EP-ing so trying to figure out if its worth pumping on my 30 minute drive to/from work to squeeze more sessions in. I hate wearing my hands free bra so I'd definitely have to get used to that!

Thanks!
