Many cultures, mine included, make it standard practice to give a woman jewelry when she has children. The jewelry becomes family heirlooms that get passed down through the generations. I just think this is so special. As I'm getting closer and closer to my due date I keep thinking about how I really couldn't have done this without him and that this pregnancy was a huge adjustment for him just like it was for me. </p> <p>I know he's getting me a gift to commemorate the birth of our daughter and I want to do the same for him. I want it to be something that last and that he can have for years and years. The only thing I can come up with is a watch. He loves watches and has many of them so I know he would love another one to add to his collection. But I wanted to see if any of you ladies did the same for your DH and what you got them? Or maybe someone on the boards has other, more interesting ideas. </p>
