Right now my kids do media on weekends but not weekdays so I think you can do the two days a week. Then it was fine for DD1 to hang with us for DD2's bedtime. I was always solo and I needed her to stay in one place and stay out of trouble. I think 2 nights a week is fine... Their rooms are across from each other so I set DD1 up in her room with the iPad while I put DD2 down.</p> <p>I'm thinking of doing a electronics detox for 2-3 weeks. But I'm not sure what to do about bedtime. I have this fear of her opening the exterior doors and walking away or worse, into the backyard where we have an inground pool. I don't trust that she'll stay put in her room without the iPad. </p> <p>Can I do a detox and just let her use the iPad the two nights a week I do bedtime solo? </p>
