Looks like I start tonight to break this habit. I had heard about milk and tooth decay but not formula, I knew when starting it it wasn't ideal, however we were kind of running out of patience and it worked to get her to sleep! I'd also suggest a pacifier. Our pediatrician basically said it's okay until the switch to whole milk... Not much different than nursing to sleep. A few months ago, she would finish the bottle in our arms &amp; then we would transport her to the crib and she would go to sleep. Not anymore, when I try this now she gets completely worked up unless I give her a bottle and then no problem, she finsihes bottle and falls asleep in her crib. </p> <p>How bad of a habit is giving her a bottle in bed, am I going to regret this later? Please tell me I'm not the only one doing this! Edit: She's 8 1/2 months old! </p>
