@Mae: @reyorra: I also thought it odd since he has zero issues with milk. It might have been something else interacting with the ice cream, but it was just chocolate, which he's had before. Thankfully, ice cream isn't a big staple in our house or something we keep around. Maybe I can convince him for a long time that yogurt is ice cream. :silly:

@Jess1483: Interesting! I know my husband is lactose intolerant, and ice cream messes with him in the worst way too.

I have issues with milk products (nothing diagnosed or awful, but definitely noticeable issues), and ice cream has always been the worst for me. No idea why.

Could it have been something else he ate that day that reacted with the ice cream in his system? Or just something else all together (nothing to do with the ice cream)?

cheese and yogurt are much more easily digested than milk because of the cultures or something. It seems weird that WCM doesn't bother him though... I would think ice cream would be harder to digest because cream is heavier than milk, but I assume he didn't eat like, 2 cups of ice cream. could there be something else in the ice cream he was allergic to?

My LO drinks WCM, eats cheese and yogurt like a champ and no issues. The one time I try ice cream, and we have green nasty diapers and an unhappy toddler. What gives?
