I was on Humira which suppresses the immune system making you more susceptible to it. They probably want to make sure you arent a carrier, sometimes it can lay dormant. Its a huge improvement on the bubble test that had to be given then checked 3 days later. I don't remember having it done with my first pregnancy. </p> <p>I have an appointment with my OB in a week and a half, so I am skipping it for now and will talk to my OB then. I have no risk factors for TB so I don't even know why I need it done! </p> <p>(The reason I'm asking is because it was included with all my other first trimester blood work that I had done this morning. But this test is special and the draw has to be done in the afternoon, which would mean going back for another appointment...) </p>
