My son was clean and of really kept him off of the furniture because I was more afraid of accidents than his parts touching something. Potty Training which has them go bare bottomed for block 1 (which, for us, was only half a day... or maybe a full day? I can't remember). We rolled up our rugs and then put towels down on any upholstery. It was totally fine. And then you clean the house when they are doing well. It took us about 5 days (on and off) of bare bottom. Toddlers aren't exactly the most hygienic anyway, so I think it just comes with the territory. We kept DS in the kitchen and bathroom only until he was able to hold it/ wear underwear. I laughed at it at first but now that I think about it I can see his point! I am planning to train my boy (3 yr) and my girl (22 months) together so all advice welcome! </p> <p>Did you do bare bottom method? How many days of my son's d*ck on my couch can I look forward to?? Is it unhygienic for my girl?! </p>
