If his sperm count is low, you want to BD every other day. This is just what I heard when researching this. It is entirely up to you how often you want to BD, some people get tired BDing every day, so every other day works better for them. I think I read 33% of pregnancies occurred from BDing every other day, while 37% occurred from BDing every day, so it is only increased by a little bit. Sperm can live in fertile cervical fluid for a few days, where your egg only lives 12-24 hours, so BDing the day after O is not *likely* to result in pregnancy. Not saying that its not possible, but it is definitely much more important to BD in the days leading up to O. Good luck in your TWW! I'm a little peeved because we had awesome timing, assuming that I O'd on CD 15--we BD'd O-3, O-1, O, and O+1. However, if I actually O'd on CD 18, then we BD'd on O-3, O-2, O-1, and O. But we missed O +1. Not sure how important that day actually is though. </p> <p>So my question is, for those of you who got BFPs while charting, which days around O did you BD? And do you think missing the day after O is a big deal? FF still gives me a "high" rating... </p>
