When you put the top on when its full, if you notice, the water level goes down and you see bubbling. Thats because its filling the base. When I go to empty the tank each morning, when I take the tank off there is like a pool of water sitting in the base part that plugs into the wall. The humidifier we had before was a completely different set up so I am new to this type.</p> <p>Is this normal? </p>
