@PinkElephant: he might nap at 11, but then I have to either hope he wakes up by 12, or get up by by 12/12:15 and he can be a bear when I wake him up...but i guess he'd be going straight to preschool so they'd deal with him :silly:

I'd personally shift the schedule for all days, not just preschool days. Maybe it'd help to choose classes/activities on the other days around the same time as preschool? That way if LO adapts by having done morning quiet time or a little nap you aren't limited by activities.

Another thought - do you think you might be able to swing a lighter breakfast followed by an early lunch and a quick nap at 11? And a stroller nap at 3 if it happens naturally? I ask because I feel like lunch is my daughter's cue to nap, and I might be able to trick her by bumping up lunch. This is the only way I could see making different schedules on different days work (for us).

If you have something that prevents LO from napping at his "normal" time several days a week, what do you do the rest of the week?

Basically, we are looking at preschool that would meet 3 days a week from 1230-3. I am wondering if we muddle through those three days however we can (no nap or late nap) and then go back to his regular 1pm-3pm nap the other 4 days, or stick to our changed schedule of no nap or late nap, regardless of whether he has preschool. Thoughts?
