Mondays I use frozen milk. Tuesday - Friday I use milk from the day before. Friday afternoons I freeze whatever I pumped that day. Monday I defrost the oldest milk in the freezer. Repeat!

@Mrs. Bee: I'm saying! I accidentally spilled a bottle of pumped milk once and I cried! I can't imagine throwing it out on purpose!!! Good info, thank you!

@Mrs. Bee: what would I do with the older milk then? Throw it out, or save it in case I'm running low one day?

this is what i do:

http://www.hellobee.com/2012/03/08/my-pumping-strategy/

a combo of old milk + new milk, but mostly new milk.

but you should be giving your baby new milk because it's the most nutritionally appropriate for your child, since your milk changes to meet your lo's needs as they get older.

I have a small stash of pumped milk in our freezer that I've been building up for about a month now. I returned to work today, and I'm pumping and bagging while I'm here. So, is it better for me to freeze what I'm pumping while at work and have LO use the previous older stored milk first, or to give her what I pump while I'm work the next day?
