Thanks for the responses! It seems pretty 50/50 based on people I've talked to if their wiggles like that too. I emailed Uppababy with a link to the video and this is what they said:

"The give to the seat is completely normal and it is the design of the seat for shock absorbing. It cannot be completely stationary or the child would be taking the brunt of all bumps gone over in the stroller. Thank you for your inquiry."

So, I guess it is normal.

Yes mine moves like that. But still very secure. Just has a little wiggle room.

I think my Vista has always been like that with the Mesa attached.

Just to add - haven't bothered with the actual Vista seat yet, and I've used the 2014 Cruz with the seat but didn't bother thinking about the shaking after the first time I noticed it with the infant seat. I think it's normal because my audiologist has the Vista as well and she knew to use the shaking feature to jiggle LO to sleep during his hearing tests as a newborn.

My Cruz (alta here in Australia :) doesn't shake like that - is it clicked into a position or between recline positions when it does that?

I just got my 2015 Uppababy Cruz and I love it, but I'm not sure if this is normal... am I supposed to be able to shake it like that (see link to video below)? Does yours do this? It doesn't necessarily seem loose, but I'm not sure if it should do that.
