I weaned of my midnight pump a few weeks back and had to deal with clogged ducts 3-4 times before I finally stopped producing as much for that dropped pump session. I'm prone to clogged ducts so this makes me nervous for when I wean daytime pumping. =\

@BabyBoecksMom: I hope that day comes soon! I only have this problem in one breast. The other side is floppy. Or I'll just go ahead and say it...saggy! boohoo

I had that problem too! It seemed like every time I thought I was finished, I would get a clogged duct. I would massage them in the mornings to help keep the clogs out (but not too much stimulation!). Then one day, I just noticed how empty (and floppy) I was and that was it.

I'm currently at the tail end of weaning off of the pump for good (woohoo!) but keep having to use the pump every few days because of a couple of pesky clogged ducts.

I'm wondering if these will just go away on their own, or am I susceptible to infection if I try and wait them out?

Weaning has been such a LONG process! I've been actively weaning for a month now, and I can't wait until I can pack away my pump for good!
