@MUI831: I'm in the same situation - a 1bed/1bath - and we're taking the same approach. We've got the puj tub, which we're keeping on a hook on the back of the door and using in the bathroom sink. We're putting our dressers in storage and replacing them with a mini crib and an armoire. We're planning to put the place on the market in the spring/summer.

Thanks for all of your suggestions. I agree with @photojane: and for some reason don't like the idea of storing the baby tub in the big tub when not in use for some reason. I actually tried the puj tub in my kitchen sink last night and it seems like it fit perfectly. Hopefully it continues to work for awhile.

@Foodnerd81: We figure that the baby would normally sleep in the same room with us for awhile anyways so we're not too worried about being in a 1bd right now. We'll probably start looking for a bigger place next year at some time. I actually have a few friends who have made it with their kids until their first birthday in a 1 bedroom. You get creative with space. Luckily our place is pretty big but it's amazing how much crap one tiny little person "needs".

i actually asked something really similar a month or two ago, since we're in the same situation. we only have one small bathroom, and no where to store a huge baby tub. i find the idea of storing it in the actual tub really annoying for some reason. i initially was going to go with the puj, but found a foldable sling-style bath while registering, and it seems to be a good option. i haven't used it yet (obviously), but i like that it folds up pretty small to be stored in a cabinet.

this is it:

We are downsizing from 1.5 bathrooms to 1 and we will probably just keep her baby tub in the big people's tub when not in use. When we need to shower, we'll just take it out and put it on the floor, put it back when we're done.

We lived in a tiny condo when we brought LO home and I bought Prince Lionheart Flex bath. It folds up really flat and is really easy to store! I got it on Amazon, but I googled it and they sell it at Target too:

@Foodnerd81: that's what I was going to say, I would keep it in the bathtub.

However we skipped buying a baby bath. For the first month he bathed with me. Then about 6 weeks I started taking showers again, and I just took him into the shower with me! At 5-6 months I started putting him in the tub by himself and he loves it! He spends most of the time on his belly playing with toys.

We have two bathrooms, but we keep her tub in the upstairs in DH's bathroom inside the tub (the downstairs tub is a jacuzzi and rarely gets used). DH keeps it proped up to drain and dry in there overnight, and then during his shower he just puts it on the counter, and moves it back when he's done. Easy peasy :)

Do you have one bath tub? Could you keep the baby bath tub inside the regular one except when you are showering (and then just put it on the floor next to the tub and put it back in when you are done.)? I might be misunderstanding the question though.

How are you going to do the sleeping and stuff with a one bed? I keep debating if we could make it work in our one bed/one bath apartment when we have a baby.

We live in a one bedroom/one bathroom condo at the moment and therefore, storage space is lacking. For those in similar situations and only have one bathroom, how do you bathe your baby? As much as I would love one of those baby bathtubs, I don't have an extra tub to keep it in. And even if I were to use it on a counter top, I have no place to store it. I received the puj tub from one of my showers but am afraid that it won't fit any of the sinks in my house! Has anyone found a good solution?
