@MaisyMay: Looks like it's a no go. Just got a call back from the other doctor who preformed the second surgery on me and he said that we should wait until all my procedures and follow ups are over. If we did happen to get a BFP in the mean time he would just adjust the meds for the procedure. So I'm out until February.

@Sugar.Biscuit: It is frustrating! I know that we had to wait 2 months following a miscarriage before we could try again and it was so hard to wait, but like you said, good things come with time to those who wait (never said we had to wait patiently!).

@MaisyMay: DH has been AMAZING! I told him my fears and he said he has no problem putting things off another month. Which prob wouldn't be a bad idea considering I'm having my stent removed in a few weeks. Just so frustrating because we have had to put it off for a few months now because of either my health issues or DH's back! I just want to make babies! I know all good things come with time...

@Sugar.Biscuit: Sometimes giving yourself a month off, even if it's te first month, is not a bad thing. Get yourself back to 100% and then try for the LO. Hopefully your SO is helping you recover and making sure you get lots of rest.

Okay I've already updated on another thread about having my gallbladder taken out on the 7th. There were major complications & repairs to my bile duct & liver were made. I ended up being in the hospital over a week in sever uncontrollable pain.

That being said I was told we could TTC this month now that all the repairs have been made. I'm still recovering, the site is bruised but healed & still have side pains that mimic the pains I have pervious to surgery (which is common). That being said I just realized that this week I should ovulate. My cycle was thrown off a bit because of surgery. AF wasn't as strong & didn't last as long. With the stress on my body who knows if I'm even going to ovulate this month. That being said this experience was so traumatic that I'm having nightmares at night, breaking out in cold sweats, and not sleeping well at all. I'm not sure I even want to risk putting my body through anything else right now... Like a pregnacy. Then again I think that if I do O I should take up that opprotunity because in a few weeks I should be feeling 100% so why waste a good egg...right? UGH!!!!

@Sugar.Biscuit: Ahh, I understand! Sorry you have to deal with this!!! Hopefully you can get everything figured out SOON so you don't have to push off TTC much longer!

@adira I'd rather wait. I would hate to be having attacks while pregnant, they hurt bad enough as is. Also I don't want to run the risk of it needing to be removed while pregnant. If that's what it is and we catch it early enough it's only and outpatient procedure if it explodes I'd be looking at weeks in the hospital...

Even if you do have issues with your gallbladder, could you start TTC anyway? Or is it not safe to get pregnant with all the tests and anything else you may have to do? What a bummer!

@.twist. I had an allergy blood test done about 3 months ago and they found I had allergies to wheat, shrimp, cats, dogs, bunch off grasses & pollens. I've been avoiding everything the best I can. I don't know what to think. I do have the neat two Fridays off so I'm hoping have those days packed with appointments. DH is oblivious to how these test can effect a pregnacy. He thinks we should continue as planned. He said they have ways if dealing with pregnant woman & testing stuff.

Are they for sure you're having issues with your gallbladder? I only ask because my doctor put me through a ton of test for my gallbladder and even talked about removing it because I was having crazy attacks.

Eventually, I found out I was actually having an allergic reaction to penicillin (which I've always know I'm allergic to). I was ingesting it from blue cheese (unknowingly). As soon as I stopped eating that specific cheese, my attacks stopped.

Oh I'm sorry-- that must be so frustrating! Can you try and get it all scheduled quickly so you don't have to put it off month after month? It's hard to remember, but your health is more important than TTC. I hope they can find answers for you soon!

I'm so frustrated right now! I never really got any answers from my doctor regarding my gallbladder. She said the ultrasound looked good but she wants to test for celiac & send me to a GI specialist. There is still the possibility of more testing! One of the test is to check the function of the gallbladder which involves a radio active dye & live X-ray. So once again I feel like we are going to have to put TTC on hold!
