When he was born his hair was straight and fine (looks a lot like your son's photos). At first we bathed him a few times per week. Now, at four months, we bathe him every day. He's got cradle cap and eczema and the daily bathing (even though the literature says LESS bathing) helps his skin a lot more. And we don't notice additional dryness. Her texture started off as the fine baby hair but now it's soft, poofy, curls. She has a little spot on the back of her head that's a little more kinky we just make sure to condition it well.</p> <p>I don't straighten my hair and I still haven't found a shampoo I like that doesn't leave it dry, so I don't use it often. I found that Johnson's was extremely drying on his hair. At this point he still has fine baby hair. It was straight when he was born but it is loosely curled now. She gets her hair washed 1-3x a week. Before she started solids it was once a week, but since a lot of food ends up in her hair it's more now.
