So zi was shocked when R came out with dark brown hair. My grandma told me my Dad had dark hair and then it turned blonde. Somehow I ended up with blonde hair. Must have been a recessive trait both of my parents carried. Not even any of my grandparents had blonde hair! It used to be platinum and now it's turning into a dirty blonde. DH has medium brown hair with a reddish tint. DS was born with black hair. After it fell out, it grew back dark but has gotten lighter over time. He's 18 months and it's really light brown.
