@KayKay: that's good to hear! I've been doing a lot of Googling & I've seen where lots of women don't ovulate until CD 17/18/19 and it turns out fine.

@mrskansas: i don't ovulate regularly (AF every other month or so before i started having kids...), but even with 100mg clomid on CD3-7, i still didn't ovulate until CD17ish. so hopefully you'll still be good!

I have another follicle scan tomorrow at 4 & they are ordering my trigger shot in case it's ready to go.

Fingers crossed that the little egg grew!

@PurplePumps: It's so frustrating. I know there's not necessarily a problem with later ovulation, I just want to be "normal" and O on CD 14 for once. Ugh.
I also need to learn to be patient, lol.

@mrskansas: Ah, same here. I'm on CD32 today and still nothing. I've never been stimmed well enough to ovulate cd14 except for IVF cycles. Even a low dose injectable for IUI had me going until around CD16. The earliest oral meds have gotten me to ovulate was 18, and that was on 100mg Clomid or 5mg letrozole.

@PurplePumps: Well I usually don't ovulate on my own until CD 30+ so I guess it is moving ovulation up, I just expected it to be around days 14/15. But I know everyone is different!

@FaithFertility: He was going to trigger if I had a good follicle so I could start progesterone & Heparin but no such luck.
I'm hoping that they will see me for another scan & I'll have one ready so I can trigger! We are just doing TI.

If you ovulate on your own and Clomid is making you ovulate slower, it may not be strong enough. 50mg of Clomid did nothing for me. I still didn't ovulate until CD20 something. When they upped me to 100mg, I think I ovulated CD18ish. The lining should continue to thicken until ovulation, but Clomid is also know to thin some peoples lining. Mine was only 6.seomthign to 7 max mm by the time I was ovulating, whereas my natural and IVF cycles are up around 10+mm.

I took 25mg of Clomid days 3-7
If I remember correctly my RE wanted a lining at 8?!
Follicles man I can't remember! I'll go look back on IF boards!
I would definitely get another scan of you can!
Are you triggering ?! TI?! IUI?!

This is my first cycle on Clomid; 50 mg, days 3-7.

I went in yesterday at CD 13 for a follicle check and my RE said there was one that might be ready in a few days but he didn't measure it. He initially said my lining looked "great" and didn't say anything after it measured it at 5.85.

Few questions... is it normal to have a slower response to Clomid? I usually don't have any issues ovulating on my own, this was to create a stronger ovulation. Can lining thicken up as ovulation approaches?
There was also free fluid behind my uterus consistent with ovulation but I haven't had a positive OPK & he didn't see a corpus luteum, so it's highly unlikely I already ovulated.

I'm going to call today and see if I can get in tomorrow or Friday for a quick scan to see if anything has changed, but I know there are some experts here who might have some insight!

ETA: I started this cycle coming off a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage so I don't know if that would affect anything or not.
