<description>&#60;p&#62;Refrigerating actually dries out cake, so I'd go with freezing.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;When making a layer cake, I bake, level and freeze the cakes, and then stack and ice them still frozen.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;ETA: I thaw it just on the counter for about 30 minutes, but go ahead and ice partially frozen.
