Yup, over Christmas I had like boxes of blood thinners with me! I never had any problems. I even had to do some injections mid flight, what a nerve wracking experience! lol I did have a note with me just in case.

I've done it with no problems or questions. You might also be able to get a sharps container from your hotel front desk, so you don't have to bring one (but I'd call just in case that's not usual where you're going). Have a great trip!

@raintreebee: Yes, several times and I've never even been asked about it in my carry on. I did carry the written prescription with me in case there were any questions.

I flew with my PIO syringes and medicine. I was prepared to answer questions if TSA had any. I got through security without any questions.

Oh, it was a short work trip so all I had was a carry-on and laptop bag. I believe I put my meds in my laptop bag.

I found this on the TSA website.

I did it recently, not for ivf meds but a different injectable I have to take, and it had to be kept cold. I put it in a little lunch bag with a freezer pack and I told them about it before I went through security. They pulled me out and checked it anyway but it took two seconds.

Hi Ladies, Has anyone successfully brought injectable medication on a flight? I am flying tomorrow for work and forgot I have to bring along my progesterone. Wasn't planning on checking bags.
